During our first full week in 4C, we have been acting out the story ‘Keep off the Tracks’ in our Writing lessons. The children deepened their understanding of both the story and the way the author uses ‘show not tell’ to describe the way the characters are feeling. The acting out of “Jake’s Dad’s face was dark and stormy” was particularly good!
