Being Batman!

This week has been all about perseverance and not giving up when things get tricky!

After exploring and designing our shields over the past half term, today was finally our opportunity to cut them out. We had to show resilience and perseverance as the cardboard was really tough to cut.

In Writing, we have been creating a non-fiction text. We spent some time learning about the rules for writing an address in the top right-hand corner. We are becoming more confident in including the correct features in our writing.

In Maths, we have been practising column subtraction with exchanging. We found this tricky at first but we kept practising and persevering. Over the weekend, please continue practising column subtraction with exchanging to help build confidence and fluency.

In Science, we got hands-on with the digestive system by making poo! We watched a fun but rather disgusting experiment that helped us understand the different stages of digestion and how food travels through our bodies.

Keep up the hard work everyone!
