In Science, we learned about the different functions of our teeth and how each type helps us to eat and digest food. We then explored how our teeth compare to those of other animals, looking at the differences between carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores and how their diets influence the shape and purpose of their teeth.

To finish our learning, we took part in an exciting class challenge! We raced against the clock to clean model teeth in just two minutes. We learned the importance of brushing effectively by dividing the mouth into quarters and making sure every section was cleaned thoroughly.
In our writing warm-ups we have been learning about prepositions. We all ping-ponged our ideas by putting our pencils in different places (even balancing on our noses!) with sentences including prepositions.
