It has been lovely to welcome 4C back into the classroom this week. I have missed them immensely!
We got stuck into our new writing topic with information texts. We have found out all about ‘The Bearnafish!’. Similarly, in Reading we have explored a range of information texts to study the different features which make up an information text such as: subheadings, Did you Know facts and photos with captions!
We have begun our new Geography topic. This week, we focused on learning about compasses, understanding north and south, and discovering the Equator. The children enjoyed exploring how the world is divided and learning how these directions help us to locate places around the globe. We even had a game of globle using the atlases!

In Art, we have learnt all about the origins of Mosaics. We researched our favourite mosaics and begun a class live art drawing session. We use our iPad as a visualiser and did a live drawing lesson with Miss Chadwick, which was really fun!

Our timetable knowledge is outstanding! Watch how fast some of our pupils are at playing TTRS. I am in awe every time I walk around the classroom whilst they are doing soundchecks! Remember to keep practising at home to aim for 25/25.
