This term we have been strengthening our understanding of multiplication by exploring timetables in a hands-on and engaging way. Pupils have been using manipulatives such as counters to build arrays and visualise key concepts. We have been making connections between our 3,6 and 9’s.
We have also been focusing on maths oracy. Pupils are encouraged to explain their thinking clearly, work with partners, and use precise mathematical vocabulary to justify their answers.
