This week, we travelled back in time to explore life in Ancient Rome! We had a special visit from a Roman who helped bring our learning to life. We discovered what daily life was like for the Romans and learnt more about the exciting and sometimes dangerous world they lived in. We also imagined what it would have been like to watch the gladiator battles at the Colosseum, one of the most famous buildings in Ancient Rome.

In Maths, we have been exploring the concept of area. We used Post-it notes to cover shapes and help us visualise the amount of space inside them. This hands-on activity helped us to develop our understanding of area and recognise how the size and shape of an object can affect the space it covers.
