On Tuesday, we were greeted by a Roman soldier. We stepped back in time and were each given a special role to help bring Roman society to life. Whilst some of us joined the council, others managed wells or sold goods imported from across the Roman Empire. We also learnt about Roman gods, their names and what they represented.

To end the day, we became the audience at a colosseum show. We mimicked battles and cheered on the fighters. We learnt SO much about the Romans and we are very grateful for this opportunity.

In writing and reading this week, we have been focusing on our class novel The Firework Maker’s Daughter. As a team, we have been planning and writing a shared letter to Lila’s friend. Next week, we will bring it all together by finishing this topic with a Hot Write. I cannot wait to read them!
The TTOTW is
…… (Drumroll please)
6 × 6 = 36
Ask your child what six sixes are and I am sure they will impress you.
Please ensure everyone is logging on to TTRS for 10 minutes each day to boost multiplication skills. We MUST bring Tiny back home to 4C for the holidays. We can do it. I believe in you, 4C.
Achievements:
